Empire White Wash Set
A consistent ink set that offers a smoother gray value finish without the need to add white to your normal greywash. The Whitewash produces a cooler tone and semi-opaque grey finish as opposed to using the Empire Greywash set.
The whitewash system allows artists to achieve a smoother gray value with less effort. Many artists add a few drops of white into their graywash. This helps us get a more deliberate value without needing to build it up through layers. You can expect consistent ink that heals similar to a semi-opaque gray but goes into the skin like a graywash.
"A milky, semi-opaque graywash that came about when I used to add a couple drops of white to my caps of graywash. I’ve always liked the look of a cool toned, semi-opaque gray in the skin. I like to use the whitewash for value and graywash for transparent shadows. The whitewash is intended for artists who use a slower hand movement approach. In my technique, I generally stretch the skin evenly and glide my needle backwards only, making sure my depth is consistent and my hand always glides as if it was on ice. We offer free next day delivery on all mainland UK website orders above £100 - larger items such as furniture are not included.
Small sized orders under £25 in value may be delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed. All other orders over £25 will be sent DPD next day delivery.
Overseas delivery can vary in both shipment time and cost. Contact us for more information.
UK mainland orders received by 4pm will normally be delivered next working day (UPS).
EU orders may be slightly delayed due to the ongoing difficulties with shipping into Europe amidst the pandemic.
Out of stock items may be substituted or cancelled as preferred.
Any shortages or damaged goods must be reported within 2 business days from delivery.
For other delivery options including AM, Saturday or Saturday AM, contact us prior to completing your order.
PEAK SEASON DELIVERY
During peak seasons including Black Friday and Christmas we aim to get all orders made before 4pm out for next day delivery, however courier services cannot guarantee next day delivery.
UPS will deliver 95% of orders for next day delivery during this period, however we warn customers delivery will be 1-2 working days delivery.
To avoid disappointment we recommend ordering an extra day in advance for any supplies needed to ensure you are stocked for day to day studio/salon activity.
