WHAT IS ROSE WATER AND WHAT ARE ITS PROPERTIES?
The hydro-distillation of Rosa Damascena petals leads to two well-
known products of different solubility:
- ROSA DAMASCENA FLOWER OIL
* Rose essential oil: not soluble in water.
* Properties per smoker. Of great value in the perfume industry.
- ROSA DAMASCENA FLOWER WATER
* Floral rose water, or rose water, soluble in water.
*Antioxidant and astringent properties that give it great
cosmetic value on irritated skin.
HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE A SYNTHETIC ROSE WATER FROM A NATURAL ONE?
In the market we can find two types of products under the name "
rose water" in terms of origin: - ORGANIC OR NATURAL ORIGIN: the name of the rose flower must appear in the list of ingredients on the container label. Which comes from, in Aloe Tattoo's case: Rosa Damascena, or Bulgarian Rose.
- SYNTHETIC ORIGIN: it is a fragrance of synthetic origin dissolved in water
with the help of chemical surfactants.
The benefits attributed to natural rose water cannot be expected . The word "Fragance" and the
surfactants used must appear on the label.
DELIVERY
We offer free next day delivery on all mainland UK website orders above £100 - larger items such as furniture are not included.
Small sized orders under £25 in value may be delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed. All other orders over £25 will be sent DPD next day delivery.
Overseas delivery can vary in both shipment time and cost. Contact us for more information.
UK mainland orders received by 4pm will normally be delivered next working day (UPS).
EU orders may be slightly delayed due to the ongoing difficulties with shipping into Europe amidst the pandemic.
Out of stock items may be substituted or cancelled as preferred.
Any shortages or damaged goods must be reported within 2 business days from delivery.
For other delivery options including AM, Saturday or Saturday AM, contact us prior to completing your order.
PEAK SEASON DELIVERY
During peak seasons including Black Friday and Christmas we aim to get all orders made before 4pm out for next day delivery, however courier services cannot guarantee next day delivery.
UPS will deliver 95% of orders for next day delivery during this period, however we warn customers delivery will be 1-2 working days delivery.
To avoid disappointment we recommend ordering an extra day in advance for any supplies needed to ensure you are stocked for day to day studio/salon activity.
